Hi, I’m Prashant, an Aerospace Engineer and Roboticist based in San Diego, CA, specializing in multi-agent autonomy, edge-compute hardware, and intelligent data systems.

Currently, I am a Principal Engineer at EpiSci, an Applied Intuition company. My work focuses on bridging advanced autonomy research with rapid, production-grade product delivery:

  • Product & Production: I architected and deployed Axle 4, a full hardware-software onboard compute platform for autonomous drone operations, driving the project from initial concept to scaled production deployment in under six months. I also managed a cross-functional team of 10 engineers specializing in collaborative autonomy, model-based reinforcement learning, and Bayesian state estimation.
  • Advanced Research: I have led the technical execution for multi-agent autonomous systems across high-priority DARPA, USAF, ARL, and US Army programs, securing over $3M in SBIR funding, including a Phase III award dedicated to transitioning experimental architectures into fielded systems.

What I’m Tinkering With

Aerospace and space infrastructure are where my passions live. Outside of work, I have been deep in a side project exploring Space Domain Awareness. I am fascinated by the challenge of monitoring what is in orbit and have been tinkering with the sensor and data infrastructure layer. Still early-stage, but it keeps me up at night in the best way.

I am always looking to connect with engineers, builders, and mentors who share a curiosity for spaceflight infrastructure, autonomous systems, and what comes next.
